Zahara de los Atunes, just like the rest of Andalusia, has a very busy event calender to offer. The Easter Week and Carneval are just two of the important dates in Atlanterra and Zahara.
The biggest celebration in Zahara is the Semana Santa, the Easter week. Religious processions attract mostly Spanish visitors to Zahara and Atlanterra in this period.
Apart from Easter, you can discover some fantastic events like the Romeria de San Jose or the night of Juan and Juana which is the night that welcomes the summer.
And of course Carneval time when the entire village dresses fancy and parties.
