The city beach of Zahara (also named Playa del Carmen) extends from the river mouth in the begining of the village of Zahara until the holiday residences of Atlanterra where it connects with the beach Playa Atlanterra.

Just like the Playa Atlanterra, the Playa Zahara has good infrastructure (sun chairs, umbrellas, beach bars, restaurants, showers, ...) and counts amongst the best visited beaches of the Zahara area.

Especially in the summer months there is a colourful mix of tourists and locals creating nice vibes in the well-visited beach bars that stay open after sunset.
