In the winter time the temperature doesn't sink below 17°C. Still, we always recommend to wear a neoprene suit for water sports. The water is very clean here and there is no danger of currents. Beach Playa de Cabo Pino This is the most eastern beach of Marbella. It's Marbella's most natural beach and can be found some minutes away from Marbella by car. Beach Playa Las Chapas This beach is situated between Cabo Pino and Puerto Banus. It is 1000m long and 40m wide. You'll find it infront of the urbanisation Las Chapas. There is a bay-watch tower, showers and toilets, and 4 beach bars offer drinks and snacks. Playa El Alicate 11 beach bars can be found at this beach, which usually gets crowded in July and August. Great for sports offers like windsurfing or rent a pedal boat here. Playa de Puerto Banus The city beach of Marbella is located on the right side of the yacht port Puerto Banus and has 1000m of fine beach to offer. The beach promenade is full of services and gastronomy and decorated with many palm trees. In the high season this is the most visited beach of Marbella. Climate & weather in MarbellaWhile temperatures in the summer at the Andalusian coast are comfortably warm, it may be unbearably hot just 20km further in the country. Seville, for example, is used to have above 40°C every day while on the coast you only feel 25°C. In winter time it hardly gets any colder than 16°C, except for the nights which could end up being around 10°C. The temperatures also depend on the wind direction: Levante brings warmer air from the land, Poniente brings cool air form the sea. The average humidity in summer is around 30%, in the winter it is above 50%. The probability of rain is very low apart from January til April.
